Words

Fear of words -
here’s something I’ve learned.
Verses I wrote
verses I burned.

From the doubt in my heart
cruel whispers begin:
”Weak, you write
with a borrowed art.

The sheet is lovely
when it’s white.
Save room for the word
you can not write.”

About

I am not merely described by the letters in my name, but by the verses in my poetry.

Do not try to guide me, maybe I won't follow you.
Do not try to follow me, maybe I won't guide you.
Walk beside me, and you can be another friend.
